How editable links work
Editable QR destinations: keep the artwork, change the link
An editable destination is useful when the printed artwork should stay the same but the page behind it may change. Kyutcode offers this option when you create a new image with paid credits.

What a scan opens
A standard, or static, code encodes your chosen destination directly. An editable, or dynamic, code instead encodes a Kyutcode redirect URL. Our service looks up the destination you saved and sends the visitor there. It is not a change to the picture every time you update the link.
Enable it before you generate
Choose Editable destination in the creation form when using paid credits. After generation, open the image in your gallery to update its destination. Save the new address and test another scan. A normal QR image you already made cannot be retrofitted with this feature because its encoded address is fixed.
When an ordinary code is enough
If your menu or shop always uses the same public URL, a standard code may be all you need. You can change the content on that page without changing its address or reprinting the code. Use an editable destination when you may need to move visitors to a different address entirely.
Plan for the redirect dependency
An editable code relies on the Kyutcode redirect service and your saved destination remaining available. A static code goes directly to its encoded address and does not need a Kyutcode redirect. In both cases, the destination website must stay accessible. Keep ownership of important destination pages and test codes after changes.
Credits, not a monthly subscription
Kyutcode credit packs are one-time purchases. Paid creations include full-resolution, unbranded files and the option to create an editable destination. Free monthly creations use smaller branded files. Review the current credit packs and terms before purchasing; the final checkout shows the available local currency and price.
